Anouschka Renzi is the daughter of Eva Renzi and was raised primarily by her adoptive father, the actor Paul Hubschmid. With parents who were actors, her path was all but set, and she began practising her craft at an early age. At the age of 17, Renzi appeared on a theatre stage in Berlin for the first time. In the same year, she moved to New York to take acting lessons at the Lee Strasberg Institute there.
