{"id":3866,"date":"2025-09-11T10:03:23","date_gmt":"2025-09-11T08:03:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ants-and-butterflies.de\/2025\/09\/11\/afrikamera-2024-believe-12-17-nov-2024\/"},"modified":"2026-09-01T12:16:23","modified_gmt":"2026-09-01T10:16:23","slug":"afrikamera-2024-believe-12-17-nov-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ants-and-butterflies.de\/en\/2025\/09\/11\/afrikamera-2024-believe-12-17-nov-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"AFRIKAMERA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ants-and-butterflies.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/afrikamera_2026.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5416\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:24px\"><br>Homepage <a href=\"https:\/\/www.afrikamera.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">afrikamera.de<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>AFRIKAMERA 2026<br>REFLECT<br>09 \u2013 15 NOV 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From 2024 to 2027, the AFRIKAMERA film festival \u2013 CURRENT CINEMA FROM AFRICA \u2013 will focus on the themes BELIEVE * CHANGE * REFLECT and CREATE, highlighting diverse perspectives on key social and political issues facing the African continent today and in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The African continent is one of the regions of the world most severely affected by climate change: drought, aridity, the exploitation of natural resources and demographic pressures, combined with often extreme poverty, mean that for a large part of the continent, issues of distributive justice and environmental concerns are of particular urgency in the context of sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year\u2019s theme REFLECT focuses on a selection of feature films, documentaries and short films which, on the one hand, examine the impact of colonialism on the ecological balance, climate change and the struggle for resources, the exploitation of nature by unscrupulous mining companies, and the \u2018white saviourism\u2019 of NGOs.
