ROMA GIUBILEO 2025

The photographs were taken in November 2024 and February 2025 as accompanying documentation for Christina Kubisch’s sound art project ELECTRICAL JUBILEE. They are used in a video, on social media, for PR purposes, and to illustrate the production locations in the ELECTRICAL JUBILEE exhibition at the Goethe-Institut in Rome. The photographs were taken in the vicinity of Rome’s four papal basilicas with their four Holy Doors, which are opened only once every 25 years, during the Giubileo.
